Woodex bearings are made of durable rock maple and impregnated with petroleum wax for permanent lubrication. Our parts offer a cost-effective alternative to synthetic options without sacrificing quality or performance.
As the wood bearing’s interface heats and cools during normal operation, the natural capillary action of the material releases lubricant. When sand or grit enters, the wood compresses to absorb it, cover it with oil, and prevent the substance from causing damage.
